Mahalo to all the generous sponsors, volunteers and all those involved for their valuable contributions to help make Uncle Willie K’s BBQ BluesFest an annual event that has grown each year.
The BluesFest was held on Saturday, January 11, 2015 at the War Memorial Special Events Field with the mission to “Share the Aloha”. Three Maui Non-Profit organizations were selected as this year’s beneficiaries. Only in its third year, the BluesFest was able to raise over $12,000 for the Half-Helen Foundation, the Maui Food Bank’s Aloha Backpack Buddies program, and the Royal Order of Kamehameha – Kahekili Chapter IV, each receiving a portion of the proceeds.
